The comprehensive (Level 3) annual inspection is a vital verification step to ensure the playground conforms with relevant sections of AS4685.
An annual comprehensive inspection, also referred to as the Level 3 inspection will establish the overall level of safety of the equipment, foundations and playing surfaces. A report will be provided that will include the results of any risk assessments and/or risk benefit assessments that have been carried out where non-conformances have been identified.
The annual inspection ensures the safety and compliance of play spaces which may experience wear and maintenance requirements over time, accompanied by a detailed report of the compliance requirements.
